xbox problem

Hi to all
I have bought a double liner .... SMARTV PRO
in italy is called easytv pro p.i.p.
all work great but with my xbox I can see only
image in black and white.....
I have tryed with the xbox of one of my friend .....
a modded one .... and it work fine with color!!!
on the modded xbox there is a switch that activate/disactivate
the mod and in both cases The image through the EASYTV is with color
so I have a question .....
Did you know if my xbox is damaged or if I mod it
I can see the color too???

I'd imagine that it has something to do with the region of the xbox. Most modded xboxs have no region restrictions (depends on the modchip and BIOS though). What games did you try and where did you buy your xbox?

I highly doubt your xbox is damaged.

Did you hook up your friends box the exact same way?
Using the same cables and connections?

I'd check region, but I dont think it's that because the doubler and your disks were purchased where you are... so region shouldnt be an issue. If you were trying american disks in your box then that would be another story.

This is usually a cable issue. Check EVERYTHING and try again.

Sounds like when I use pal video on an NTSC monitor and visaversa.
