Rhysh,
I am truly sorry to hear of your system crash.
You have some of the most usable designs. Any ideas what the future will bring.

I am not sure yet, there will definitely be new things in the near future. The XAR may return, but as it was such a small project so i dont know when it will happen.
I am brainstorming for new ideas all the time..

Rhysh,
Did you lose the gerbers and drill files to the original XAR? I would really like to have one set of those made. It will be more than adequate for my purposes.
By the way which program do you use to flash the pic microcontrollers. Is it terribly difficult to learn to program them. I have zero previous experience in that area.

Rhysh,
This might as well be a nice opportunity to finally pay attention to sending out the pcb’s that many of your _very_ patient supporters have been waiting for in your thread on the Intrest Check: 120w @ 8ohm Tube Buffered LM3875 Amplifier.
What do you think?
Arjen.

This is my next step.
You might want to try SpinRite by Steve Gibson, the man is a genius:

Many drives can be recovered if they work at all.
Nice work by the way!
Any way to upload the binary from the AVR?
Pete B.
Edit: What about a remote?

I have found some backup files for a previous version of the XAR, i will simply copy the board layout in the thread to bring the version up to date.
Expect to see hard copies towards the end of july
