I'm looking to buy a pair of XA-100 for my 802d. Is this a wise move? Are the XA-100's to old? If that's possible.

Oh sorry lol! I was thinking about my specific set up. 5.1. Two mono and one 3 ch (center, and two rears).
Can the design plates in the front of the amo be removed? Like making it a flat front plate? Just curious.
