Very unlikely that the power cords would cause a fault in
one channel and not the other. Try switching the connections
between the preamp and the amp right-for-left and see if the
problem moves to the other channel. If so, it's probably the
preamp. If not, it's probably the amp.
In either case, you are likely to want a service person look at it.
