X350.5 Gain - Bal vs Unbal

I have a Pass Labs X350.5 amp 🙂 and the user manual says it has a gain of 26dB. It can accept either balanced (XLR) or unbalanced (RCA) inputs. I was wondering if someone can tell me if the gain is the same for both (balanced and unbalanced)?

Actually, I have a related question...
I also have the Pass Labs X250.1 preamp (life is good). It has balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) outputs. Would the balanced output be twice the level (6dB higher) than the unbalanced output for the same source material and volume setting?
