Coulomb, I am just curious about the status of 'The parts GB for X-Bosoz' since I got mine PCB´s last day. It starts itching in my fingers 🙂

Regards

Well as I have not recieved my boards yet I can not test fit the components before making the kits. Some of the transformers for the power suply arrived on Thursday, the balance is expected soon.

I would like to get the kits under way myself.

Regards

Anthony

I might be ignorant, but I don't see why the same 100v caps are used on the negative supply. One could get a 33000uF/25v for the same price or if there's no advantage in higher capacitance a 4700uF/25v would cost less than half the 100v type.

Just a thought.

PS Anthony, I'm also intrested in parts if you have spare kits.

I agree, that's why my kits have the lower voltage caps on the low voltage rail. The savings went to other parts.

Spare kits...hummmm I think I mentioned I would look at extra kits after I filled the initial orders.

BTW Kari, I still have not recieved my boards.

My Boards arrived yesterday, so everyone else in the states should have them on the way.

The mail shure took long enough. Nothing like good old american security. I feel safe now that my mail spends weeks in customs.

Thanks Kari. The boards are beautiful.

received my boards the other day as well. I must say, it was well worth the wait!!! They are very high quality, good work Kari. One question:

D9, D10 on PS board: add jumper as shown here, or just rotate diode, and leave as shown on the site?
