everything is fine. The board works without problems. KX amplifier as well. They make a perfect couple.
Line Level Preamp is excellent buffer. I would plead for a relay attenuator of the same size.🤔

I build the xaltra preamp and i whant to understand the benefits using this type of dc offset adjust in input fet gate. Looking in similar preamps like onkyo p3060,sansui ca-f1 i observe that biassing is diffrent. Personaly i try the below method (sansui) and is work.

There really aren't any advantages/disadvantages either way IMV - it's just the preference of the designer. The X-Altra JEFT input discrete line amp uses a resistor to set up the LTP source current, so it's simpler than using an active current source (TR07 above).

BTW there is a new X-Altra Mini II Line level preamp coming soon. Much, much easier (and cheaper) to assemble but with the same specifications and facilities

No, its not missing. I used to use CircuitMaker 2000 which had dodgy graphics - the connection is good on the board. 🙂

Boards ordered. I am assembling a second vinyl system. ATM I have a salas simplistic phono, which sounds very good with a rega rp8/ dynavector Xx2mk2 MC cartridge.
I wanted to try a current input phono preamp and this project sounds like a great option at a similar price point to Salas’ one.

Looking forward to the new redesign preamp boards, If you remember for some reason I had trouble with the remote board and never figured out the issue. I hope the new remote board is less finicky. If you need a builder to do a verification build I can.

I have a question. Is it possible to isolate Dig GND and K Ground on the power supply board? Ideally it should be possible but jumper configuration does not allow this. if U7 jumper is uninstalled K ground is still returning the mute and relay supplies circuits. is that OK.
