I unfortunately have NO way to build speaker boxes as I am attending college and do not have any tools with me, nor do I want to spend several hundred on tools...
I need to replace my computer speakers because on of my Tangband 871's went out and I have found them to be to small and played too loud to be appropriate any longer.
I want a .75 box with these items in it. The tweeter will be on the rear of the box (toward the top). The speaker sould be about 8 inches up on the enclosure. I prefer depth over width.

Two enclosures. I am looking at simple MDF. No paint of anything fancy. I might spray paint them black on my own, at most.

PE also has cabinets. If you are ordering from them anyway...
Also, you might want to reconsider using the piezo with the 8" I think you'll find it sounds better without it.
Do you have experience with piezos? I'm guessing the answer is yes because you chose to put it on the back where you won't hear it as well. 😉

The thing is that none of the pre-made enclosures even fit an 8 inch...

Those Radio Shack tweeters ...
... are sometimes hard to tame, but Godzilla has the right idea ... tweak 'em to the max and tame that phasing problem = a great little tweeter.
PS: make that resistor across the Piezo's terminals >> greater than 10 watts, a wire wound type will work (that 'Shack resistor is not very healthy, power wise, and will heat up over extended loud listening periods. The 0.47 uF cap should be a poly / plastic audio type, bi-polar.). ... The Piezo-Electric Tweeter was originally designed and built by Motorola with a response curve & phase curves all over the map clear out to 40K+ Htz. They do work very well in the range of 6K Htz out passed 18K Htz without too much added components = no crossover required, sometimes. (I used one as a gopher remover in the garden = worked just fine. ... 🙂 ... I have also used them in combination with groups of 3.5" paper cone middies in some pretty nice sounding smaller speaker cabnets.)

He replaced the front panel. That is something I doubt I could do... without tools anyhow.
