I need a Service Manual/ schematic for Rotel RCD991 CD player

Hi Rick,

I need help with my Rotel RCD 991 CD Player.
Sometimes has troubles reading cd's ( original, no marks ..) and
skips during playing.
Do you have some ideas how to fix this problem, what it is wrong???
Do you know where to get SERVICE Manual??????????
I have been looking.... no luck.

Change the lens. That should fix the issues.

The lens should not cost more than US$10

... my RCD991 had a problem with dead remote detection, I tried to fix, but I damaged something in the 5V-section 😡 (too much current), now it would be fine to get the schematic - would anyone mail me this to info(at)weigelt-edv.de ?

My cd-player is repair now ...

The problem was the R903 like it's says on the pdf file.


I have change R902 and r903 and all is perfect now, I have recover my RCD 911 AE with pleasure...
