WTB: RUSSCO Studio-Pro turntable - rebranded versions OK too

Hey folks, I’m looking for a Russco (or Russco rebrands like BE, Micro-Trak, etc.) Studio-Pro turntable for a restoration project. Normal wear OK but must be functional and complete - no tonearm is OK. No stripped out parts tables, please.
Will consider a Cuemaster model but prefer the Studio-Pro.
I’m in the area of Bakersfield, California and can pick up within a 100 mile radius, unless we can work out shipping.

Thanks, Duane

I wanted to ask what your experience with the Russco Studio Pro was…and what the restoration project is…studio?…hifi?

I purchased a Studio Pro back in 2018…thinking it would be great re-plinthed for hifi…like a Lenco or Rek O Kut…except on steroids.

It was in excellent condition.

As soon as I fired it up it became apparent that it was not what I thought it would be.

It was so noisy I might as well have been using a pottery wheel for a turntable…nothing wrong with it…just a noisy beast of a studio turntable.

When I contacted the seller about the situation they confirmed that this was the nature of these tables.

I ended up returning it.

I sort of expect it to be a little noisy but hope to tame it.. I do plan on using it for hi-fi, not in a studio. I may have found one with a member on another forum - much rougher shape than yours pictured above, though.
May I ask what you paid for that one?

I want to say that with shipping ( all the way from CA to CT) it was about $300.

Can’t find any actual records.

It was a wonderfully over-built machine, but the motor/drivetrain noise was excessive for my taste.

My RekOKut B-12H would be the next in line as far as build quality and it is virtually silent even on its original hollow box plinth.

I should probably consider one of those ROK idlers.. I do have a couple of ROK and Empire belt tables using the same Papst motor. Just something about a professional broadcast turntable that I wanted to try.
I’ve read that others thought the same about their noise, though.
