Want to buy a power transformer for a tube preamp kit requiring 200v DC.
Kit manufacturer recommends 170vac for B+ and 6.3vac for heater.
Tube is a 5670 twin triode.

That transformer would work.
I went through the Antek grid this morning for a while but could pin-point what I needed.
Do you know if there are any concerns with power toroids in tube circuits as opposed to standard power transformers? Is in-rush a problem or high frequency noise?
Thanks,
Vince

I’ve used antek toroidal transformers as power for tube pre and power amps with no problems I can discern.
Their cheap available and a nice metal case can be purchased from antek to dress them up if your design has the transformer visible

I don't know of any issues regarding use of toroid transformers to power valve gear. In fact, a while ago, member SY concurred with my selection of an Antek transformer to build the ImPasse pre-amplifier, which he designed.
