what does the plug look like that is on your panel? If its the same as my qa-1650's then I can help you out. The specs I have on my power supply is 12volts 2amps, barrel connector with the center being "+". I get these power supplys from Ebay for about
$15. They are a dell part numer, for a laptop I am assuming and it works after you take a small drill and carefully ream the inside of the conector. I also have remote for you panel and an owners manual if you need them.

well i not received this panel yet, its still in the USA and im in australia, but the seller told me it didnt come with a power supply, so im trying to track on down before it gets here. I will try to find some pics of the connector and post them on here.
Also wouldnt the manual show the connector?

Yah, You have a good point, I'll look in the manual tonight when I get home from work. I have two of those QA-1200 remotes so no problem on parting with one.
yea a laptop computer power supply would work provided it has enough Amps, I hope for your sake the panel works as thats a lot of $$$$$$ to spend on something and have it not work( crossing my fingers)
Video, the amperage on the power supply I am useing is 2.0 amps, the panel requires 1.95 amps. It has been working fine for the last few months.
kardas, I just looked through the manual for your panel and it seems you are in luck. Same type of plug, 12 volts and 1.95 amps. I am fairly sure that they are exactly the same.
The power supply is dell part #24111 It says 100-250volts input, and 47-63hz so it will automaticly switch for what ever AC source it is pluged into.

Perhaps the seller that sold me the power supply has more, or knows where to get them. If you cant find one I might consider selling one of mine since I am down to one working panel now.

on the note of spending alot of money for something that possibly doesnt wirk, the price i paid for it was $31, and $17 for shipping to a friend of mine in the states, the it will be about another $30 or so for shipping, that will mean this panel would have traveled more of the world then me. And if it doesnt work, oh well, at least ill have some more spare parts to play with.

Kardas, when you get your panel, you could just use an AT or ATX power supply from any computer to test your panel. I have done this myself and it works fine. That way you wouldnt be out any more money if it doesnt work.
yeah, thats true, but i think i would prefer the whole package, and even if it doesnt work, i could sell the lot on ebay australia, and let someone else have a go at figuring it out.
