I have a nice little tube preamp I can sell you, just add my balanced output pcb and you'll have balanced output. I'll give you my SE/Bal bare pcb for free if you buy the preamp.

What is your definition of low? For $600 - $900 look at Schiit Audio Freya if you want new. Great reviews. Tube or SS For less money and solid state I would look at a used Parasound P 3 on eBay for $350 or so.
