Hi all,

I need a KEF B200 SP1014 woofer for my IMF Super Compact speakers.:bawling:

One of mine died last night and my local repairer tells me it is beyond repair.

The B200 came in many variants- I only am interested in an SP1014.

TIA

Hi- are you sure that those are KEF B200 SP1014?
There are a few variants of the B200 and I search ebay every couple of days.(admittedly I only search for items that will be sent worldwide.)
I have not seen the 1014 type that I need.

Chris🙂

KEF for sale in the Netherlands

Check this website (www.marktplaats.nl), it's a sales site about anything, in dutch, not like eBay though, but you have to offer some amount.
Check "Audio", then "Luidsprekers", then check "Kef": there is a pair of B200/SP1014 for sale (€ 80,-).
If you're interested, click on "Neem contact op met adverteerder" to get in contact. You can write in English, most of dutch people speak Shakespear's language well.

Another matter about your setup: ant 200mm, as well as the famous B139 bass driver from Kef have a resonance frequency of 25Hz. Means in a IMF transmissionline (tuned to 25Hz), any other Kef driver would work. The only thing that changes between the drivers is their Q factor - which is (according to old Kef data sheets) 0.51 for the SP1044, but a SP1022 (Qts 0,41), a SP1039 (Qts 0,45) and the SP1063 (Qts 0,44) may work fine as well, the bass might be even mor tight. Avoid the SP1054 which has a Qts of 0,23 which is just fine for Bass Reflex or horns.

Juts try it, all of them sound close also in the midrange with the same Crossover.

Rgds,
Dan
