WTB in UK: Inductors for crossover prototyping + 1.5-2.0mh inductors

Hi All

I have too many low value (0.2-1mh) inductors and not enough in the 1.4 to 2 range. Wondering if any other UK hobbyists have an overstock of higher value inductors they can help with? Happy to trade if interested, otherwise will pay via PayPal goods.

Found some 2.0 and 2.9.

2mh are thin gauge and mounted to a board. I shall leave them on there. Might be useful.
2.9mh are large and heavy and good size wire with low R.

Cover the postage and they are yours. Will upload pics when I have a better signal...im out in the wild!

haha, out in the wild! sounds like you've gone rambo for 2021... who could blame you.

Thanks so much for your kindness, PM me amount and paypal email I ping it over to you.

Diabolical Artificer - thank you so much, let me know what you have and what you need (cash or swap)

Also I do have a fair amount of small poly caps (solen/clarity cap) if they're of use by way of reciprication.

These are what I have.
What caps do you have exactly, maybe a swap would be good and I'll send these gratis.

Hi Guys,

Sorry it took me a while to reply, this thread gave me a good motivation to at least measure and bag up my stock of caps!
I have the following available for swaps/trades;
In pairs:
Solen 400v poly caps, measure at around 2.4uF, 3.7uF, plenty available.
Alcap electrolytics: (values approx as there's variations between parts, but I should be able to match pairs for you... If you can forgive errors in my equipment readouts)
~17.5uf/100V
~28uf/100V
~40uf/100V (one unmatched pair)
Also a bag of bi polar/non polarised electrolytics of various values, good to have around for rapid prototyping if you don't have some!

I should point out that these were mostly recovered from a speaker manufacturers overstock so some leads are very short, and some may have shirt lengths of wire soldered on.

Sorry guys,
Not sure if the photos have attached, trying to upload a few of the caps. I also have some 'sounder' caps which are likely electrolytics but not sure...

Colin, all of those inductors would be of great help to me, I need a couple to bypass a mid and potentially a couple for a small mid monitor I'm building to use-up old parts, would you mind sending me a PM?
