WTB: High quality caps 1000uF 63-100V

I'm after high quality caps for my Aleph P clone project. I need 1000 uF, preferably 75-100 volts. I need between 10 and 20 pieces.

Well it seems one you get past 50v the caps really jump in Price....

Got some Nichicon muse 1000 uf, 47000uf and 10000uf 63 volts they do a lot of good in a powersupply

sikorel caps

I have few siemens epcos sikorel caps to sell if you need. the best available cap for power suply.IMHO. slightlky more rsoliution even compare to Black gate standart in power suplies. I used it at my P 1.7 with outstanding results. however they are expensive.
I have

NOS siemens sikorel 1000uf 100v date code 86 80pieces
NOS epcos sikorel 2200uf 100V date code 02 42pieces
NOS epcos sikorel 4700uf 100V date code 02 72 pieces

Note - I will sell only few caps- 20-40pieces max. theese things is very hard to get- I am colecting new powersuply for my aleph and almost two years having problem to find bigger than 4700uf siemens /epcos sikorel caps.

also theese caps are big , they didnt fitted to kristijan pcb and I need wired them with kimber 8tc cable localy.keep in mind.

I'll be using NOS russian military paper in oil foil caps for the input and output - so it will be cramped in the casing 8) A lot of big caps and wireing. Whatever it takes...

I also managed space issues in my Aleph 1.2s. 8 mallory cans
66 000uF in each. It is really cramped - but the sound...just great! 😀

I'll be using NOS russian military paper in oil foil caps for the input and output

actualy I have tried most bigger capacity russian paper in oil caps and the best was KBG series.but unfortunately they suggest smooth , juicy,sweet sound which is very listenable but far away from neutral side. thought they can be good mach in very sharp live and great resoliution system if you want to down transparency and resoliution.

I using P1.7 only when listening LP. other vise my dac has 6vrms and has good drive for AX monos. dac do not have any coupling caps in signal path so its very easy to test performance no preamp /conected
the best (and cheap) way is to use black gate nx as input ,output caps. thay are in the saem league as a audyn cap plus. audyn cap plus is smoother but bg nx has sharper and details are better. I had tried audyn cap plus, zinc folie, mkp, mundorf zinc folie , solen FC, and from all black gate coloured sound less than any of other mentioned.and they was very cheap comparing to others film caps.

unfortunaltely my power suply( 800 000uf nichicon chemi pon and 170 000uf epcos sikorel) did not fit to any amp 😀

so made two box where power suply is located. it is not very big

260x350x450mm / 25kg each 😀
