Hi everyone

What i found and was looking for was possible...

Copper or brass rivets that can be soldered!
I have seen them in use in many boards, mostly TVs and such...

But, making double sided and with copper plated holes boards was impossible...

Have anyone tried these rivets that are sold on ebay for "cheap"... ? :smirk:

Like this one? I have no idea about the rivet material used here, but it does not appear that they are soldered. edited to say that >some< do appear soldered...

no, that appears to be strips of brass pop riveted to a piece for circuit board material. The pre-amp uses "Griplet" pins (rivets) through the board and soldered.

see attachment. These are in my experience unreliable. I do wonder about that through hole rivet device 🙄
