Mr Death,
at the moment you sound like a guy who's walked into a biker bar, shouted "harleys suck, beards are for fags" and then pi**ed on their jackets.
Don't expect a warm welcome.
I think quasi is being very patient. You might have something interesting to say. You may only have one more post before you get binned again. Please make it a good one.

He didn't make it. Indeed he may have something interesting to say, but his method of expression leaves a lot to be desired... a big chip on his shoulder.

when i first got a guitar i had it hooked up to a 3 way home speaker, when i would pick a pinch harmonic on the high e string it would just barely make it into the midrange. when i covered up the midrange and tweeter their was almost no loss of sound. at high levals the low strings would bottom out the woofer. the lesson here: use the right speaker for your application. MrGuitardeath probably hasn't tried this yet.

Remember Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 when he naked walks into a bar and says "I need your clothes, your shoes and your bike". He got away with it 😀float said:Mr Death, at the moment you sound like a guy who's walked into a biker bar, shouted "harleys suck, beards are for fags" and then pi**ed on their jackets.
But the Terminator could back it up.
A lot of companies use piezos? Other than the mini PA systems they call "acoustic" amps, I cannot think of a single guitar amp that uses a piezo. I can't imagine wanting one. i can't imagine wanting a tweeter of ANY kind on a guitar amp.
But I have only been in professional audio as a career for 35 years, so what could I possibly know?
Thank goodness some yoyo with the attitude of a 14 year old has come along to straighten us out. Due to his obvious talent with speaker design, I no doubt will see his products sweeping the Grammys.

When MrGuitardeath plays, the dogs leave a-runnin'. Glass breaks and bats get lost. I wonder if garage doors open?

Guitar Tweeters
I know nothing much about the guitar amp speaker world, but thought it odd, when recently doing some minor re-soldering work for a friend, to find it had a 15" speaker, with 2 tweeters. The amp is a Duovox, Tini-Titan II. Info I found on Google says it's a french made amp. The 2 tweeters are Motorola. They are from the factory - not been added. The amp sounds quite well with my Fender Strat. It was just the first time I ever saw tweeters in a guitar amp.

Hi ThSpeakerDude88,
If you didn't reply, someone else would have. You pointed out some facts. MrGuitardeath is the one who has a problem. Exciteable, wasn't he.
Don't ever be afraid to post a response.

Hey SpeakerDude88,
Don't worry about it. This is a forum of contribution and learning, not a soapbox or fantasy theatre.
You tried to offer sound advice in your first few posts in a friendly way that most people would have at least considered. Others also tried.
MrGuitarDeath proceeded to insult everyone who mostly simply offered advice.
Cheers

I don't come here too often as I am usually checking out the hifi forum stuff. But , what an attitude ! And so arrogent, too. Seems like he had all the answers before he asked the questions.
I am old school. Been playing guitar since 1968. I know basic speaker wiring and have built plenty of guitar cabinets and hifi cabinets, too.
If he really did walk into a bar, insult the harley dudes and what not, he would be made mince meat of, for sure.
