Worth it to buy dead studio monitors to fix? presonus eris?

I was looking around for some presonus eris 4.5's and found some of them that don't turn on. What would be a common issue that would cause this? Bad power supply? Something that could be replaced, etc?

Bear in mind these are $159 per pair new so I would want them almost free if they don’t work. May be simple, may be more drastic, roll of the dice.
