Well I'm starting on my new adventure. The smallest full projector i can make. Heres the plan....
Locally here in the states, we have a store that sells disposable digital video cameras for around $35/USD (ebay even cheaper). Well they have 20min of video recording, a 1.5" diag. LCD screen and sound for playback. Well i was able to hack this thing, so it's now re-usable. Well lastnight i was able to LOAD movies onto it, and play them back. At the right compression rate, and pixel size to match the screen, i was able to get about 70-100 minutes of video onto it. Now tonight i'll be working on using the 1.5" screen and some leds to create a projector (or beamer for some of you 😉 ) and hopefully be able to project an image maybe the size of a sheet of paper. And all this with electronics would run off battery, and be no larger than a large cell phone. I'll have pics tonight, and some progress pics.

here is one of the cameras I was talking about. The image if from a web page that was not mine.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
