If you can't be the best, then be the most expensive.

...against throwing money out the window for show.....or maybe you just have more than you know what to do with.....send some here " for proper disposal ".
😀😀😀😀
I do understand the drive to build something like this as a challange ...to yourself ...maybe , but otherwise, i mean do you listen to the music or go nuts just looking at them ?

Imagine the amp you could build yourself for that kind of money.
Exactly! And most of that money would go into upgrading my listening room to a house with an ocean view and a great wine cellar! Ha ha!
That amplifier has a bright future......in an EDM club in Vegas. And I highly doubt it will take 1.6M to get it there 🙂

Haha. LOL!
Just like that.
I prefer a little absorption (cobwebs) and dispersion (dust)
😀
Nice one.
I use a air ioniser to free the air from dust.
Subjectively highs sound better.

I could build a better amp and with the money left over I could buy a house.
Hahaha
I just spent a week cleaning my listening room.
Pics or it didn't happen. 🙂

I guess you could call that an upgrade.
I (and I imagine others) would love to see some photos of your room.
Kind of like peering through the windows of a lingerie models bedroom 😀
OK, here's what the sound room looks like this morning.
In the background are the Tannoys in the upside-down Jensen Imperial
cabinets, in front are TAD 1601a's with Jordan J92s on top biamped.
To the left, the Beasts with 1,000 Jfets (and the painting of them by my
daughter. To the right of that the autographed pic of the first transistor.
On the floor, several Fostex drivers in little boxes ready for listening.

Did she also do the FZ portrait?
That was my sister. Since you are curious, here are shots of other stuff
on the walls.

Wiat about 1.600 000 EUR amplifier 🙂
Seen on AVS2017 Warsaw.
Did I read/guess that right: 120 000W in Class A?😱
That amp could moonlight as a central heating boiler.
Would that make it tax deductible?
