How about the Levinson ML3? Weighed in at 120 pounds, about as big as a window air conditioner, and 200 watts per channel... and a whopping 2.4KVA tranny (two 1.2 KVA).

Sounds quite nice tho. Really grips my Maggies.

Heard those snails once, didn't think they were THAAAAAAT great.

They were driven by a pair of Classe Monoblocks. They can achieve deafening SPLs without clipping/distorting.

Wasn't much fun though.

The "Ko'lok" seems to be vaporware. Dr. Gizmo was going to build a 50KW amp and write a book about it also. Never came to pass as I remember.

I use a 900 watt amplifier for my mobile disco.

One of the other discos in my city uses a 10,000 watt amplifier.
