I got it in 3 but it took me half an hour because I couldn't think of a word that fit the clues. Then I guessed something that isn't a word at all.

That's the 4th time I can remember in the last year alone they have allowed something that is not a word. I'm glad I didn't try it or I would have failed for sure.
Something I have resisted. Call me a puritan but I like the challenge of no hints.
