After guess #3 the solution could have been DULLY or FULLY or GULLY or PULPY. So, to eliminate three of them, I guessed FUDGE on #4. The Wordle result eliminated DULLY (D not in solution) and FULLY (F not in solution). The G from FUDGE was in the solution --> presto, guess #5 was GULLY and that completed the problem.
