I play the standard rules because that's where I started and my gauge is the long term daily average. I'm playing against the wordlebot (avg 3.5) and while I'll never equal it, I have developed my strategy to get as close as possible. It's somewhat akin to betting $180 bucks per round of golf vs $10 per hole imo
