I am actually stuck in bed as only one of my feet is cooperating right now, so I am on the iPad. I didn’t notice it, and yes seventenths, it’s just habit to play hard mode. Good for noticing Mark.
Still in bed and it seems like it is still dark outside, judging by the background.

I hope you have a speedy recovery Cal. Life is kind of in Hard Mode over here right now. My inlaws arrive for their 3 week semiannual visit today, my wife is about to undergo hip replacement surgery and we have two, 150lb foster girls that are either incontinent or otherwise just not getting house training... they're really sweet loveable dogs but this can't go on...

Seventenths, I hope you make the best of it. My wife has had two replacements but our neighbour just had hers done recently and they went through the groin area rather than the buttock. It was usable rather quickly and left no scar for the public to see.
Yes. The older method (posterior) requires more time to come back from than the newer anterior method, which is more from the front. Mine (2008/9) were very early anterior, whereas my wife's in the last couple of years were modern anterior. Her recovery was fairly quick; they do these as outpatient surgery now and she was up walking an hour or so after the surgery. She never needed a walker and barely needed crutches.
If your surgeon doesn't do anterior, find a different surgeon.

Mark, I am back at the desktop computer.
