Been playing with Quordle when time allows and I believe this the first time I got it in 7. It's just a practice puzzle so I won't be spoiling anything but nevertheless, it feels good.
As you can see by the opening word, there is a slightly different approach than with a single word I think.

With guesses being distributed to all (remaining unsolved) puzzles, it's not really feasible to invoke a hard mode in Quordle.
I've got 3 starting words, and quite often solve Quordle in 7. Occasionally, I run out of guesses (9 max) - particularly when trying to guess the first letter of "__aunt", or a similar word with multiple possibilities. I hate that one. 😉
