Hello,

I still produce chassis for tubeamps. Unfortunately, without metal parts. I can not find a suitable cheap manufacturer which deals with laser cutting.

In turn I can draw for you any individual layout of metal plates in DXF format. To this I need a sketch according to your idea with dimensions. Can be hand-drawn sketch too. The individual drawing will cost depending on the complexity. Please remember, I can not make metal plates!!! Only DXF drawings.

I can make for you custom design and custom dimensions by your idea. Of course wooden parts only. If you are interested please send me a message!

Here are some pictures of the current offer.

Chassis frame is hand built by real solid cherry/oak/padouk/amaranth -wood. The wood is treated with transparent varnish. Natural color, no pickled! Please remember, that it is a real handwork. It hase a small inaccuracies.

On the front side is formed a recess for the potentiometers, switch, leds, etc.

External Dimensions 360 x 310 x 60 mm
Internal Dimensions 320 x 270 x 54 mm
Dimensions of Top and Bottom metal plate may be: 340 x 290 mm (the same)
Dimensions of Back metal panel (plate) may be: 309 x 40 mm
Recess for top and bottom plate the same: 3 mm
Recess for back panel: 2 mm
Net Weight: about 1,2 kg

If you want to use thinner metal plates, the recess can be reduced with washers.

Prices and shipping costs are available on my new website at: http://tubeamp-chassis.com. More Design versions are also available in the gallery.

I hope that you like them.

Have Fun!

Very nice looking chassis indeed.

I recall Mr Rogers is using these for his dad projects.

I think Tickhomir means that he used to do full chassis with top and bottom metal covers.

But now he is limited to wooden sides only, as he requires a good supplier with the fair pricing for metal parts
