Hello
I just bought woo Audio wa 2 and its new, but I'm now experiencing hum/buz when my volume is at clock 11 or higher, my sources are A&K KANN ALPHA and Burson Conductor C3 ref, I have noticed when using KANN ALPHA the Buzz is less noticiable than when using BURSON C3 REF.
any idea what's wrong with my setup, is something to do with the grounding?
I also tried with 2 pins power plug but noise is same and when I touch the WOO WA 2s Chassis I can feel the current I'm assuming the W2 is not properly grounded?
Also whe not using any inputs the Buzz/Hum is almost gone.
Should I buy isolation transformer? Will it help?

I asked woo audio and they told that the hum is coming from the Mains Socket in my House and told me nothing is wrong with the amp.
Take your amp back to that shop & tell them to shew you it operating properly. Or give you another the same that does work.😱

"Feel the current" as in an electric shock??? This is the reason you should return the unit back to Woo Audio. It is not safe as it. Using a two prong plug (while not a safe practice) should not cause an electric shock by itself . You can only feel a shock only if a high voltage find a path to the chassis. Grounding the chassis will only blow a fuse or trigger a breaker. You have a safety defect, not a hum problem.

No Its not like a shock, but I think its the ground current on the chassis, I have Burson Conductor C3 Ref and its the same.
I have read in many forums like headfi that the Woo Audio W2 has humming/Buzzing problem, but some people fixed it with tube rolling, but in my case it didn't work.
And on Woo audio website it says that its ground loop issues, and I think they are right because when I use my Desktop Dac Burson Conductor C3 ref I can hear the buz before going to 11clock but when using Kann Alpha I can hear the hum/buz when volume is just before 11clock/full.
I cant get help from woo because I dont have any receipts I bought it from Gumtree UK private seller and and said that he didn't have any ground loop issues in his house, and dont have any receipt.
The only reason I'm asking on diyaudio because people here is more technical so I'm hoping someone do knows what I can do to eliminate the hum.
Should I try isolation transformer? If so whats will be the best one to use for this amp?
