It would be interesting to see the polar response of that configuration (especially a 3d one). the mtm will give narrow vertical dispersion and the W W on either side will then also tend to give narrow horizontal dispersion... I'm not sure though whether it will be less of an issue due to the lower frequencies involved with the W's... what frequency were you thinking of making the lower crossover?
Tony.

If the drivers are not bought yet, I'd suggest a simpler combination - a wideranger in the middle with 2 MB, crossed below 1kHz.
And then you get this: SH Micro | Danley Sounds Labs | Danley Sound Labs, Inc.

The sample crossover shows a 500hz & 5k crossover points.
I have drawn up a simulation based on the DA175 & Alpair 6p in a 2.5 way sealed for the center and vented for the mains.
It really looks quite good I think.
I still need to get a grasp on how to cascade the second woofer properly for a good .5 way.
Here is the MTM mains setup I'm working on along those lines.

Hi,
I don't like Xover3pro, it doesn't do stuff it needs to,
to be correct. (If the buyers don't know, who cares ?).
The design of a centre speaker is different to L and R.
e.g. see Zaph|Audio - ZDT3.5 and
Zaph|Audio - ZA5 Speaker Designs with ZA14W08 woofer and Vifa DQ25SC16-04 tweeter
rgds, sreten.
