Wiring up Slide Potentiometers / Faders

Hey all, new to the forum, hoping you can help.

Im going to be modifying my VCI 100 (Midi controller) By adding two new faders to it, the faders I've ordered are:

PTE60-151B-103B2 Bourns Slide Potentiometers

The main question I have is will I have to mount these to a pcb board, or can I solder wire to the connection (hoping I can)?

Any help would be much apprecaited.

You can do either, they were made for a board, but you should be good at soldering if you are going to use wire connect.

I'm not the greatest (But practicing). Do you know if it is possible to buy pcb board's for these to connect to?

It would probable be more trouble then it's worth, keep practicing and use heat shrink on the solder connections
