If I wanted a 4KVA (2KVA per channel) Transformer and configured two 1KVA Transformers together using the series (secondary) parallel (primary) method for each channel, would I not just increase the voltage however, still be limited by the current of a 1KVA Transformer?
Possibly I am overlooking something why I cannot see any benefit using such a configuration when current is the motive not, voltage.

Paralell doubles current with the same voltage and series doubles Voltage with the same current...
