i recently got a new car and installed new speakers and my old amp and subs. the problem is is that in my old car the wiring for the speakers was differnet to make just highs come out of them. could someone explain the diagram to me?

whenever i had the head unit installed previously the wiring behind the rhead unit was wired a specific way where only highs were produces in the speakers. when taking the head unit out i think i seem to remeber the wiring going like this for ex.. back right going to front right as well and going the same for the left side. if this sounds familiar at all or someone knows more specificaly what im talking about that would be great.
model numbers for both head units would be great, and so would a link to a wiring or hook-up diagram for each, or a link to the owner's manuals.
It sounds like you have left the crossover which was probably an inline with the wiring one, in the old car.
i will have to remove the headunit whenever i get a chance for the information, but it was standard 4 speaker wiring. each speaker having to wires. all that i can remeber when i took the old head unti out is that not all the wires were being used. if i hvae left the crossover in my old car what exactly does that mean.
