wiring for less load on amp

I have 3 DVC 18"s. MA Audio. With MA5082HX amp. My amp keeps blowing. How should i wire the subs so the amp wont blow?

How do you have then wired now?

i didnt wire them. the amp is bridged. with 2 wires each from the positive and negative of the bridge
i always get confused on series and parallel

the positive wire from the 1st voice coil on SUB A goes to the negative post on the 2nd voice coil and the positve goes to the negative on the 1st

Well it sound like series to me. That was how they should be if you are trying to increase your impedance and go easy on your amp. In your first thread you say you have 3 of these woofers. I am assuming the wiring continues in series?

What do you mean you keep blowing your amp? It is bridged (parallel). Are you sure it is a bridgeable amp?

I think the first thing I would try is to separate the amp leads and run one set to each of two woofers, with the third woofer left out of the equation for now, as see what happens.

this is the second amp ive been through. I still need to get this one fixed. The outputs blew out of this one.

You haven't told us squat about the amp or speakers so this is just off the top of my head.

its a 2 channel amp 4000 peak 18s are dvc
what kinda squat do you want to know?
all of the tech specs i dont know off the top of my head.

Voice coil impedance and minimum load amp will drive in the bridged mode.
