WinXP question for gurus. This is a tough one!

There are a lot of smart people here so...OK, here goes.

I/we am a road warrior and need to connect to my/our corporate network all the time over a GPRS/UMTS connection. This in itself is not a problem as we have no issue 'VPN-ing' in. This does create a decent connection but with limitations. The way thinks are scripted, we have no access to network drives and some other items. This is due to the fact that the connection is established after logging on to the local machine. The way things stand this is because the connection client to the GPRS/UMTS network runs after a user has logged on locally. The cisco VPN client we use appears before the logon prompt. We need to have the cell connection client appear at that same time. We cannot figure it out. I have tried putting the executable in the registry where the login process happens...no go. I have tried the task scheduler..nope.

Any ideas as to how to get an app to run just before login? Humph!...if cisco can do it, so can I! I miss autoexec.bat....

Thanks,
Marc
