Hi, long time member and lurker, but I haven't posted much.

I'm new to WinISD and am using it to design a slot vented enclosure for my JBL GTO 804. I have the box volume and the vent designed, but I can't tell if the box volume includes the port and driver displacement or not.

Does anyone know if my (.7 ft3 ) needed volume in WinISD includes displacement, or how I can check this in the software?

I saw there was a post in 04' about this same thing, but wasn't sure if it was ever answered definitively.

Hi, the calculated NET box volume does NOT include the port and driver displacement & bracing etc. You need to add those volumes to the NET to get the GROSS internal volume.
