Wine drinker who can do SI mods?

I don't trust myself trying to desolder all those really small pads on the SI board, so I am looking for help. I'm also pretty broke, so I'm looking to trade wine for soldering.

Here's what I'll do: order all the parts, do the chassis work, send it to you with some bottles of wine in payment for your work. Interested? Send me an email @ brooks.steve@charter.net

BTW, I work for a lot of wineries here in eastern Washington so I have lot's of xtra wine. Let's try to keep it on the west coast or not too far..I hate to ship wine very far...especially in the summer.
THanks,
Steve

I do switcher stuff all the time... let's just say I get my fill.

Now, wine on the other hand...

I won't get to Washington this summer... so some wine from there will be the next best thing. Maybe for once I can get some fresh wine and not all this old junk I'm stuck with here!

:xeye:

I actually have a book around here written by Trader Vic. He had a simple, personal formula for wine. If you like it... it is good wine. If you prefer a certain brand or vintage... it is better wine. If you like red wine with fish... then do it. You get the picture...

I have a sister that tips me off to all the cheap wine that is good. She got me hooked on cabs and merlots though...

Now all we need is someone who works at the Tillamook plant who needs the same work done 😀

Walla Walla, huh? Well you'd either work for a winery or the prison...or an onion farm.

I have a SI Super T that I got on E-bay for a $100.00. After about two weeks of breaking in this little thing shines. I'm gonna have to get me one of those little T-amps before long to do some bi-amping.

BTW: I live in westerm WA.
