Picked these up today, I know a little of their history ( some of it I suspect is bs )
So I thought I’d ask on here if anyone recognises them ?
Seas drivers
Very thick internal wiring
I haven’t got to the crossover yet
The stands were purpose built and are incredibly heavy.
Sorry mods I did post a similar thread with a poor title.

Nice build. It could be interesting to see the back of the drivers to determine their models. That port on the back is really different and it looks like there is an inner wall or something. The stands are impressive and it's nice not to have visible welds.TheFinisher said:Picked these up today, I know a little of their history ( some of it I suspect is bs )

I think the originals used several Focal tweeters over the years. I want to find the correct term for their original crossovers, and I'll just say that in my "opinion", a hifi speaker that drops to 1 or 2 Ohms should be considered incorrectly designed.
I'm guessing what you mean by suspecting something as BS had to do with Wilson's old website. It contained a biography that was mostly self-serving fiction, telling the story of a self-professed genius and practitioner of esoteric black arts. They've since changed the site and removed all that, but it was an eyeful. I have to rev up the waybackmachine at some point and see if I can find it for you for a good laugh.
That "port" on the back looks more like a pole socket than a tuned port; but they are usually used on the bottom of the box
