Thanks for the comments guys.

Mogar, that is nice to hear you prefered the Orion OB setup. I am working on an OB right now, though not as near complex as the Orion. The crossover is going to be real tricky!!

A friend of mine have tried a long time ago to do an open baffle speaker with passive crossover. It lacked a little bit the midrange warmth, I believe it was from front to rear cancelation, that is kinda hard to solve without an active crossover at least between the midrange and woofer.

I've already heard the Maxx 2 and Watt/Puppy 7.

Both were although nice sounding, inacurate. Lack of real bass extension, excess of high bass (around 80Hz region), and in the case of Maxx 2 had a too big image (a cello sounded bigger than a double bass).
I've only heard the Watt/Puppy (4 or 5) and concur. Plus they're very bright at the top end. Very well built, though - for people who buy them I hope the 'bling-factor' is worth it...

its surprise but recently I have auditioned jmlab utopia be speakers(alto utopia) for longer time. and found tweeter very not anoying without harshness and more dark .but its completetly boring 😱 particulary its because jmlab xover plolitic. I have a thome lot of wilson tweeters to compare and wp5 sounds totaly diferent from wp6.

I've heard Watt/Puppy version 8, and one of the really old ones with the Seas 6,5" paper woofer and yellow Focal glass fiber tweeter. Could it be version 1? I think the old version was far better ... but perfect? No way! Very nice paint-job on the cabinets though, if you want to pay for that kind of thing....
