Well, you have just joined within the last two months, put up at least a post per day, and you have asked a question and explained your requirements without providing all of the information that we will need to give you a correct answer.

Then you yell, demanding a reply within two hours of your post.

Well, here is a reply:

What is your speaker impedance?

(Your supply requirements depends on your load.)

Your turn.

🙂

first ,my speakers are 4 ohm but i switch them out a lot so 8 ohm will be into play also mostly 8 ohm,I have ADS 4 ohm surrently, secondly I am sorry I did not know as I have said in most of my posts I know nothing about this and just got involvled in it.I hate to ask for help I like to learn on my own but at the same time I do not want to screw up any of my speakers or amps.I am trying to start off with the basic's and work my way up to building my own.

I appreciate all the help I can get I really did not know what info i needed to add ,I wish someone had told me earlier.reading is kinda hard for me ,I am blind in one eye and the other is going so i try and work around it.I like listening to good music and I really like these little amps they amaze me.I am sorr that I am so confuzing, please be patient with me I have A lot of problems that I dont want to go into.

OK. My mother has eye problems as well...anything less that 48 size print and the e-mail does not get read.

If you don't crank the 4R speakers the power supply will work.

If you want to get max power (@10% THD...don't get me started on that) then the power supply might be a few amps short.

With 8R, no problems, lots of power available for that.

However, the chip appears to be designed for 4R...no mention of 8R.

🙂

DUG,I have found this PS that is 27V DC 13A 350W Regulated Switching Power Supply will it be better ,and will 13A be too much ? I looked at the datta sheet for the ampnad 27v gives 75-80 watts @2%distortion and 32v 90-95 watts @0.2 distortion am I on the right track?and 8r should be ok should it not it will just use less power?

If you go from 36V down to 27V you could probably run with 10A.

27V @ 13 A would be fine.
