Fingers crossed. As noted on a different thread, the complement is claimed to not be up to the performance typical of the Toshiba originial (more noise), and requires more Vds (as I recall - might be wrong on that). I await to read what NP might post with regard to his impression of a matched pair.

I think these are gonna be more expensive than the Toshiba parts were. And probably not going to be sold by large distributors. So it may be best to get them from a source that will match them than buy a couple parts from someone like Mouser or Digikey.

you might be right. and if it's that smal production, then its no reason to wait for them. they will then cost more then the genuin toshiba part cost today do to the smal production. and the fet will then be discontinued after a year do to no sale.

who is up for matching 1mill pc?😀
it not all the time it need to be matched pairs.
some will want to match after own specs.
some will vant to have a drawer full of J-fets just in case, and match when they need them, in the amount needed, at the needed idss numbers.

I found a swedish distrubutor of the lsk170 who imported directly from Linear Systems. Exepensive shipment so I bought 100 of them. Asked if they knew anything about the lsj74s but they didn't as they rarely get any orders for these kinds of components.

They promised to get in touch when they hear something.
