CCS-loaded cathoder follower

It seems so strange to me. I'm using a CCS-loaded cathode follower in my preamp, unbypassed. It works, so? You don't need to bypass the cathodes of SE output tubes if you use a CCS.

:xeye:

Hi Giaime,

I am looking for a CCS-loaded cathode follower preamp (e.g. 12B4A, 6EM7 etc.). Could you share your circuit?

Thanks.

Perfect sense Giaime. A capacitor is a constant voltage device. It would only fight with a constant current source until one caved in.
