Will Cambridge Audio sell me a new volume knob?

This volume knob is history. The blue plastic insert has a notch that aligns with the hole in the aluminium cover but it's incredibly difficult to get on in one movement.

The factory glue had perished leading the cover to come off so I tried to hot glue it in place but failed as I could not get the nodule in the hole before the glue dried. I then had to heat it up in order to remove the insert and it deformed completely within a very short time.

I'm so annoyed. The amp is an Azur 550A and is otherwise in top condition. I'm hoping to get a new knob but failing that, any suggestions?

The plastic insert is badly deformed. Applying heat to the outside with a hot air gun is what caused it.
The insert is supposed to be the diameter of the inside of the black cover piece.
The heat sank into the black cover efficiently as it is metal, thereby deforming the plastic insert from the outside in. It's had it.

A new one is definitely required.

Hi! "Car for sale. Color: red" issue. The original one is clearly a euthanized goner so:

1. Diameter axle/shaft?

2. Diameter knob?

3. Depth knob?

Very cheap quality so anything visually similar can be chosen better like those on the attached picture. The D shaped hole is a small issue though.

Wait! Only worth the effort if the answer to the thread title is "no" so fill in that form to avoid reverse troubleshooting!
