Ok, heres my situation. Currently i am waiting for my ballast and bulb to arrive. So far this is what I have (remember i am completely new to this kinda thing) A box which is ready to go together once i get the light, I have a ps-one lcd which is ready to go in the box, I have a page magnifier from Office Depot, and i have a tiplet lens which i took off a unused Overhead projector, some fans i took off a old computer.
my questions are:
1. once i get the ballast and bulb, will i be ready to go? or do i need new/more parts?
2. Will the page mag work for the fresnel? I only have one, do i need another ( do i put it b4 or after the lcd)
3. any ideas for reflectos which i can pick up from local stores (dont have a walmart near)
4. I realized the the projection image wont be very big so i decided to look for a 15" lcd. Heres what i have in mind, sometimes dell has a very basic computer with 15" lcd for 400, i could sell the desktop for like 400, and keep the lcd. so the quuestion is will the dell 15' lcd work, or shouuld i sell that too and buy a cheap lcd?
5. Will i be able to use all the other parts from my psone projector? like a 250w ballast and light, lens
6. I will have my projector about 8-9 ft from the wall, so how big will the screen be with the 15' and how big with the 5' ps one.
