I try to edit my wiki pages but I'll get the message that they have been edited and need approval? What is this?

You cannot edit this article at this time because there is currently a previous edit awaiting approval.

Hi PA,
This is happening because there was a page edit by a unregistered user which requires moderation. Until the page edit is approved, the page is being locked.
I have approved the edit (it was minor).
I have changed the wiki rules so that registered users can now post without moderation.
Users who have not properly registered (not replied to the verification email) cannot edit the wiki at all.
Thanks for reporting the problem PA!

Thanks. I think it's enough with no moderation for registered users. We have not much vandalism here if I'm right.
Jason, the page is once again locked for the same reasons as before. Could you fix it please? Is it a guest editing?
Hi PA. The user this time is "hemlings". It's not a guest user. And this time I can't even approve or unapprove his edits, the software is buggy. When I wake up in the morning I'll install the latest version of the wiki software.
He emailed me so I suspected that it was him. I'll agree with you that the software isn't perfect.

Hi PA. The wiki has been upgraded to the latest version (about 5 minor point upgrades). I see that on your page you have now edited the page, and I can edit the page as well, so I assume that the bug is now gone, or at least you found a way to make it go away 🙂
Let's hope that some irritating bugs are gone like the section editing which added a CR in a bad place when I used tables.
I saved screenshots of every aspect of the problem, and then approved the most recent edit. I will contact the wiki authors with an official bug report. I can see no reason for this to be occurring.
Just to close up this thread - this was followed up and resolved with PA and the Wiki developers over PM (and resolved).
Have they tested with moderated member edits and with a regular member trying to edit after that?
Sorry about the bother Jason, but our gb wiki is ill as well:
Group buy: reg-v2n-5d shunt regulator PCB - diyAudio

You can edit now 🙂
