I am stripping an old psone LCd (unofficial) and have noticed a strange spotting almost as if it has gotten wet, but it is definetly not a water related problem
I have stripped eveything and am running 7.5v straight to the driver board.
As you can see from the pics its a wierd one! Do you think the LCD is broken or is it something to do with the inputs?
Just don't know wether to scrap it or if its fixable, anyone any ideas??

I would say the liquid crystal in the lcd is leaking or defective.
I got a similar defective lcd. take a soft cloth and run it over the area gently as if to clean the lcd. You should notice the liquid moving around as you do that.
