Why so many N400s for sale lately?

Not too long ago, I lusted after an N400 module. I checked the swap section, and none for sale.

In the last week or so, three different sellers put up modules or amps.

Is there a sense these are not as good as folks thought?

No. (I think). Ncore 400 is worth every penny that you pay for it.
Of course it is a matter of taste whether you just like it or not.the same applies to any other amplifier - class A , AB .... For me it is natural , neutral, fast and accurate sounding amplifier.
