Why is WendyLin following me

Yes you are noticed once you are followed, then no way to have access to a 'follower' list.

I would not have ( in fact i have no) concern to have members following me as long as they have an 'history' on the board ( registered from some time and with at least a presentation and some messages recorded).

Dreamth, if you want to be stealth on internet ... then don't use it. There is no way to be undetected once you post on an open public forum.

You can still protect your actions to not been 'real time monitored' under 'privacy' tab on your profile though.

Does anyone actually use the feature or derive benefit from it? If not, perhaps it could be turned off.
On the surface it seems handy, if you want to keep up with what certain people are posting. But is it really used?

I don't really need it.Google and the Search function does everything. Following someone with nonobvious reason looks more like stalking people ..

I used to ignore the "Friends" requests. Should I need an app to keep track of my friends? Do we want to expose our relationship to forum administrators? (Like they could care...)

One person asked why I was ignoring the friend request. I "friended", and never saw any benefit (or problem).

Does the present implementation of "following" mean the follower gets notice of every post? In other places there have been readers who hung on my every word, even claimed to have stored them all. I guess I should try it.

If someone is on that list of Followers (or carried over friends from old site) in your profile then they appear on the home page when they are online, as has happened just now to me.
