Even a complex design as a violin can be measured by the "golden ratio" - some even believe its THE key to perfect balance 😀

And what is balanced SPL? Can we hear a few dB differences?

E.g. 2dB extra in the 30 to 50Hz band on a small bookshelf can make a huge difference - IMO.
