Well, one day i was hearing the clanking sound coming from my tweeter horn whenever the bass thumped. It was from when i had opened it up before, and couldn't figure how to put it back together, and i had duct taped it. Anyway, I took it apart again, but this time, I ripped out the tweeter leads that go to the hook-up wire. Anybody got some suggestions? To replace the whole horn assembly, I've got to find another 9" by 3"

Thanks

no pics, just text art

i don't think it was the tweeter itself, more like this metal plate between the horn and the tweeter to protect the tweeter if you accidently dropped something down the horn (how this happens when the horn is horizontal, i have no idea).
i'll try and draw a diagram.

pt.1 the horn
pt.2 the clanking metal plate
pt.3 the tweeter itself
pt.4 the magnet

yes, i know this is a terrible drawing, but i'm too lazy to bust out paint

i suppose i could try and solder an extra segment of wire and reattach this, but i think the leftover leads are too short to do anything with.

dang it, that didn't work

okie, i'll try again
